Tori Kelly Is Hospitalized: According to a TMZ report, Tori Kelly is receiving treatment in a hospital for serious blood clots. The 30-year-old Grammy winner reportedly passed out on Sunday night while out to dinner with her friends in downtown Los Angeles after complaining that her heart was pounding rapidly. She was subsequently transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, where she is currently receiving ICU care.

Kelly has blood clots in her lungs and legs, and doctors are checking to see whether there are any around her heart, according to TMZ. Kelly’s representatives have been contacted by Billboard for confirmation and more details. Kelly, who is under the management of SB Projects, just signed with Epic Records. The musician debuted “Missin U,” her first track with the label, and accompanying Y2K-themed music video in March.
The song, which features a sample of Craig David’s 2000 single “Fill Me In,” was Kelly’s first new release since the albums Inspired by True Events and A Tori Kelly Christmas in 2019 and 2020, respectively. 2019 saw her take home two Grammy Awards: best gospel album for her sophomore release Hiding Place and best gospel performance/song for “Never Alone.”
After the release of “Missin U,” Kelly told People that she was excited to start touring again. I really miss going on tours. It was sad to have to cancel my world tour because COVID was taking place, the singer said. “I haven’t been able to tour since then. One of the things I’m most eagerly anticipating is that. I can’t yet share any information, but I am very eager to see my fans again and sing these songs with them.
